History of the Ranger Canoe Company

Ranger Canoe Company was started in 1964 as a medium sized
canoe manufacturer, producing a complete line of all sizes
of canoes. They were located in Clinton, MA.
In 1972, Ranger
introduced its Challenger ACA Racing line which dominated
American Canoe Association racing, placing 1st, 3rd and 5th
OCI 1976, National White Water Champion Snake River, Wyoming.
Ranger Canoe moved to central New Hampshire in 1974 and is
presently located on Squam Lake (filming location for On Golden
Pond) since 1985.
